I got my first NZ/London blended film back from Jessops & have decided to upload the NZ photos.
I took these photos after The Department Store, there’s Stanze, Laura & Jasper in the backseat of my car, Stanze at Ramones Night at D.O.C, Jasper, Elliot & James, Sophie & Laura at a house party, Elliot drinking in the bedroom, a building on Poynton Rd & James rubbing his eyes.
I absolutely love your photographic style and you and your friends fashion sense. Your blog is truly inspiring. I am after a new film camera and am interested in a Pentax as I have heard great things. Jus wondering what model is your Pentax is? x
Hey there, thanks I’m pleased to hear you like it. I’m a bit funny about saying what model.. Just because I kinda wanna keep it a secret heh. But there’s many good models to choose from, good luck to you!
Hello. Sorry for flooding your dash with my reblogs and likes. Your photos are amazing, it makes me have an interest in film photography, but I only have like a toy camera, diana mini. I would love to know how you get the hang of film cameras, and your little journey to make such beautiful photos. Last but not least, thanks for the follow. Xx.
Haha, I noticed that, all good, glad to see someone digging my photos. Uhm, I don’t know, to be honest my knowledge isn’t as extensive as I’d like it to be, I need to learn a lot. My advice would be to teach yourself through books or tutorials and by trial & error. Best of luck!
Your photos are really beautiful, what camera do you use? Some of your images have a lovely atmospheric quality to them. Does this depend n the film you use or is it about the camera? From an aspiring photography Student. p.s Do you have a flickr account or is it just this blog you use to post your images?
Hey there, thanks muchly :) It depends on the camera & lens you use, and then of course you’re aperture & shutter speed settings, light conditions etc.. But yeah a good lens is a must. Nope I don’t have a Flickr, just the blog!
